Welcome to my Website!

This is a host of all my favorite free software that I've used over the years. One caveat is that I've only ever used Windows, and I mostly use Windows 10 especially for personal use. So if you're on another operating system, take my reviews with a grain of salt as some functionality may be different from system to system. Although I don't have plans for mobile app reviews yet, I will still note that I'm an Android user as well.

about me; a poor quality doodle on top of the logo

tl;dr

  1. I'm a Windows 10 user
  2. I'm an Android user
  3. I use Firefox on desktop and mobile
  4. I'm never installing Windows 11
  5. This isn't mentioned, but I do want to switch to Linux

What am I using? / Caveats to my reviews

If you're on a MacBook, I'm next to useless. While I do note if software functions on multiple Operating System, I still don't know if they' differences between different Operating System. If you plan to download any software based on my reviews, take whatever I say with a grain of salt if you're downloading on a different Operating System. I've used Windows basically all my life. Windows 11 is fine for surface level interaction (say in a college library) as for personal use I despise it. It's hard to find settings, and I've spent what is probably hours now making sure my hand-me-up gaming PC knows what privacy is and that I want it.

So you hypothetical new computer owner now know that I'm a Windows 10 user which will influence our different experiences of everything, okay? Good moving on.

So let's assume you have a brand new PC — maybe even your first PC — and you don't know where to start: all you know is that you want some cool software that does cool things that doesn't cost you a cool penny. As a browser, I am ride or die for Mozilla FireFox. Nothing and no one else can compare to my baby's privacy and customizbility. Mozilla also has other software for internet privacy and security. Simply put, for basic internet use, head to the mozilla website to learn more about their other software and download whatever suits your needs.
